We’re excited to announce that we’ll return to meeting in-person for Sunday services on June 7th!

Friday, May 23, 2020

Hi Church family,

We’re looking forward to being together again very soon, and we affirm and celebrate the President’s announcement on Friday, that churches are indeed “essential.” For this Sunday, May 24, we will continue with our plans to worship together ONLINE. Pastor Brandon will share the next message in our series, “The Return” and we are expecting God to speak to each of us through His Word!

Our Leadership Team is working right now to finalize our plan to reopen our building, and we are excited to share those details with you on Tuesday, May 26. We will send an all-church email and letter, as well as information made available online. With this plan, we will communicate exactly what you can expect when you return to in-person services, so you are able to make the best decision for your family. We are carefully preparing and we will be ready when you are!

In the meantime, enjoy this Memorial Day weekend! Please join us in remembering the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we hold dear. In this season, especially, let’s be so grateful for that gift.

We believe with all our hearts that THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Hey, church family!

In light of the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision this week, we want to share the first of several updates to come! Here is what we know so far:

1. We are excited to gather ONLINE this weekend for worship and week one in our new sermon series, “The Return!” Pastor Brandon will lead us through powerful truths from Ezra and Nehemiah, with significant applications for us today!

2. We will announce our plans for future services, etc. AFTER receiving state guidelines that should be released this coming week. Our plan will include a timeline of when/how we will safely open our building for in-person services, etc.

3. We will continue to provide ministry online, even after reopening our building. For many, this will be their chosen method of connecting with the church until they feel comfortable gathering in person. We are committed to protecting the vulnerable, and we honor each person’s decision.

4. In the meantime, we encourage you to gather in-person as groups of 10 or less to participate in online Sunday services, and to keep building community in anticipation of worshiping together again!

Stay connected via social media and watch for further posts and email updates soon!

We love you!

Hey, church family!

Exciting news and we need your help! In this unusual season, we have a unique opportunity to step up and bless our community! We’re all experiencing some change in our own lives — as Kingdom Builders, we can use that awareness to be EXTERNALLY FOCUSED on the needs of others!

We’re responding with a CARE KIT DRIVE THROUGH! This is a two-part outreach to collect and give away groceries and basic household items to families who may find themselves in need. GENEROSITY is the culture of God’s House, and as a church family, we are asking you to help!

This outreach will happen in two parts: GIVE HELP and GET HELP:

GIVE HELP will happen on two different dates: Saturday, April 4 from 1-3pm and Tuesday, April 7th from 4-7pm.

These are both time slots to drop off (drive-through style) the specific needed items (and ONLY listed items, please). This is the part we ALL can participate in! Please enter on West Lane and our team will either remove donated items from your trunk, or you may hand us pre-bagged donations through the window of your vehicle.  There will be no need for you to park or leave your vehicle, we insist!

GET HELP is when Care Kits will be distributed (drive-through style) — this will happen on Saturday April 11, from 1-3pm.

TO REGISTER to receive a Care Kit, please click HERE. A preferred pickup time must be chosen along with some basic information. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent and one of our Team will reach out.

If your family or someone you know would be blessed by a Care Kit, we are honored to help — please register or share!

Safety is a top priority! We’ve been given approval and are receiving guidance from the Waukesha County Health Department, as we are considered to be an “essential organization” by Governor Evers. This event (and all preparations) will adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols, including safe-distancing for all involved.

THANK YOU in advance for your generous help and blessing families in our local community! We are BETTER TOGETHER!

We love you!

Hello Church!

First things first: GOD IS GOOD! We’re working to stay informed on the current situation, and keep everyone up to date, and in all the hustle it can be easy to forget that in the middle of it all, GOD IS GOOD.

The big news: to cooperate with current government guidelines, we will have services ONLINE this weekend! We’re excited about this— After seeing the GREAT participation online during last week’s services, I’ve never been more confident that we can still BE the Church, effective and on-mission, even while gathering online!

TO JOIN US ONLINE: Please “Like” our Facebook Page to receive notifications when we go online.

Our online service times will stay the same: Sunday morning at 9 & 10:45am!

Please ENGAGE in the message in the comments and SHARE the message to invite people to “join” you for church!

Our Team is working diligently to provide continued resources for you and your family throughout this season. By following our social media platforms, you will be able to stay up to date on gatherings, resources, and all information updates. Email will be utilized to communicate as well.

As we gather online, let’s STAY ENGAGED WITH GENEROSITY! While on-site ministries may be on pause, WeatherStone Church operations, Pastors, Staff and their famies, as well as the Missionaries and Missions Organizations we support, DEPEND on your generosity. No matter how or where we gather, our mission still moves forward to build the Kingdom of God.

In this season, we would ask that we continue to be faithful with both tithes and Kingdom Builders offerings.

If you’d like to give online you can do that Here, or text “WSC” to 73256 and follow the prompts.

If you wish to give via check or cash, you can mail those to this address: 1500 S. West Lane, New Berlin WI, 53146 or drop them off at the church office Mon - Thurs, 9am -1pm.

In this season things may look different, but we are — and always will be — the CHURCH. Our message is the same as Peter’s in Matthew 16 when Jesus asked His disciples who they thought He was. Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus responded by saying “On this rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (vs 18). We, the Church, will continue to move forward under the banner of Jesus Christ!

We’ll see you ONLINE this weekend!

Your Pastors,

Brandon & Amber Liebe

Hello Church!

In our last email, we promised we would update you as we know more. We want to honor government recommendations and use wisdom - so we are suspending ALL midweek gatherings for all ministries of the church, effective immediately.

We know we are PREPARED for this! God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND! We are linking the message from Sunday morning for you to watch and be reminded - YOU are the Church!

Continue to stay in communication with one another, and stay connected with our social media accounts. We will keep you updated with any new information and additional decisions. We love you and are praying for you and your families!

Dear Church Family,

First, we want to say we love you and we care deeply for you. Just like you we are aware of the situation regarding COVID-19 and are taking it seriously. Last weekend we discussed the Holy Spirit and His role in our lives. One of the roles He plays is in giving us wisdom. We ask that you would wholly rely on the Spirit, ask for and use the wisdom He gives.

Surely by now, you are aware that the State of Wisconsin has declared the State of Emergency and we will continue to monitor any further announcements by our state or local Governments. With that being said, we have prayerfully made the decision to have our normal services this weekend.  As always we will have multiple hand sanitizer stations in our lobby and inside each of our kids rooms. We are going above and beyond our normal cleaning procedures and taking extra precautions to make sure our building is safe.

What we will do this weekend:

  • We will not pass buckets for tithes and kingdom building offerings so please give online or in our giving boxes in the back of the sanctuary

  • We will be eliminating our turn and greet times

  • We will be minimizing toys in kids rooms as well as wiping and sanitizing each kids room and toys before and after each service

  • After both services, every check-in station will be wiped down and sanitized

  • We will be making high traffic touch points (i.e. door handles, crash bars, counters, handrails, countertops, etc.) a high priority for cleaning

Recommendations for you:

  • If you or any of your family members are sick, please stay home.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • When arriving at church, please greet each other with smiles and waves instead of handshakes and hugs.

  • Cover your face with your sleeve when sneezing or coughing and get in the habit of not touching your face.

  • If you are returning from a high-alert area, we urge you to consider refraining from attending church events, classes, and services for the recommended 14-day time frame.

  • If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know right away so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved, and take the necessary precautions here at WeatherStone.

Over the last few months, we have continued to say “the church is not a building or a service”. So when we say we care about the church, we are speaking of you. We want nothing more than for you to be safe. Please take whatever precautions you feel necessary in order to be safe.

Please understand, this announcement is only concerning this weekend. As we continue to monitor the situation, we will keep you updated.

Please follow our social media for more updates in the days to come.

We love you,

Pastors Brandon & Amber

Continue to give online (or setup online giving). Through your generosity, we will continue to provide ongoing ministry to our city. We are also committed to helping others regionally who are in need because of the current situation.

We will continue to stand on God's Word as a church family. God promises (Psalm 91) that His people need not fear the terror of night, nor the arrows that fly by day, nor any sickness that comes near. Thank you for standing with us during these uncertain times, as we show the love of Christ to our community, and move forward as a church!
