How can Celebrate Recovery help me?

By working through a recovery process that incorporated Twelve Christ centered steps and Eight Recovery Principles based on the teaching of Jesus, participants are able to break free from addictive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom created peace and joy and most importantly, a stronger with God and others.

What is a hurt, hang-up, or habit? They are those things that hinder our walk with God. Below are some examples:

Hurts
• Codependency and Adult Children of Alcoholics
• Emotional/Physical/Sexual Abuse
• Divorce
• Enabling

Habits
• Drugs/Alcohol
• Gambling
• Eating Disorders
• Sexual Addiction
• Pornography
• Approval Addiction

Hang-ups
• Control/Anger/Rage
• Lying
• Perfectionism

What is expected of me at Celebrate Recovery?

Come as you are! Celebrate Recovery is an anonymous recovery meeting, you don’t have to pre-register. No matter the hurt, pain, or struggle you are dealing with, know that you are welcome. You are free to share or not to share inside the small support groups. All meetings are open to anyone who desires change, but anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. We encourage you to visit five or six times before deciding if Celebrate Recovery is right for you.

Celebrate Recovery does name and celebrate Jesus Christ as our Higher Power, but anyone seeking a new way to manage life is welcome. Come with an open heart, an open mind, and ears ready to listen. Newcomers are always welcome!

How are Celebrate Recovery meetings structured?

The evening begins with refreshments and fellowship followed by a large group meeting with worship, prayer, a reading of the steps or recovery principles, and a biblically based teaching or a testimony. Gender specific small support groups immediately follow the large group meeting. Again, you are free to share or not to share inside the small support groups.

Celebrate Recovery never charges dues or fees, but donations are accepted and appreciated. There isn’t a requirement for registration, just come as you are.
